Satine has donated a Ripollés sculpture from its private collection for the exhibition Valencia is hosting to honor the brilliant artist from Castellón. The piece is a 5.7-meter-tall sculpture inspired by one of the iconic elements of Ripollés’ universe, the paella. The colors and characteristic shapes of Ripo make this sculpture a unique and beautiful piece of art.
The Valencia City Council and the Ateneo Mercantil, a leading cultural institution in Valencia, have recognized and valued this artwork, which was generously and freely donated by Satine and is now displayed in the City Hall Plaza.
‘Greeting to Valencia,’ as Ripollés has named this piece, has already become an attraction for the thousands of passersby who cannot help but stop and admire it. Located between the Valencia C.F. store and the City Hall, it is the only sculpture in the exhibition painted in such eye-catching colors.
There is no doubt that it is a major draw for the ‘Ripollés al desnudo’ exhibition, hosted by the Ateneo, celebrating this extraordinary artist, born in Alzira and living in Castellón since childhood.
Once again, Satine’s generous spirit is evident, contributing to this event, which is part of a series of cultural activities organized by the Valencia International Children’s Film Festival, aimed at bringing cinema closer to children.
