Competition with Over 500 Participants Underway at Espadel Burriana and La Bosca Pavilion

The FIP Gold Satine Burriana Padel Tournament commenced this Wednesday in Burriana and will continue until Sunday at the Espadel Burriana courts and the La Bosca pavilion. This is the first event of the FIP Gold circuit, a global tour with stops in major capitals such as Stockholm, Rome, and Dubai, and it will run until Sunday, February 20, with a total prize pool of €24,000.

The competition features over 500 participants in both the men’s and women’s categories, with top players from around ten countries, including Castellon native Juanlu Esbrí among the notable entrants.

The 2022 edition is particularly special for Burriana, as it transitions from hosting a FIP Star event (with participants starting from rank 50 of the World Padel Tour) to a FIP Gold event (with only the top 16 ranked players excluded).
