The Unified Association for the Promotion of Art (AUPA), created by artists and for artists, now has its headquarters in its hometown of Borriana, thanks to a grant from the local City Council. The inauguration event was celebrated with a communal lunch attended by the users of the leisure gardens with whom they will now share the space. AUPA’s leaders, artists Jose Ferrer (president), Juan Poré (secretary), and Ángel Igual (treasurer), created a collective mural featuring the face of Leonardo da Vinci as a metaphor for the promotion of artistic and creative activity. It’s worth noting that World Art Day is celebrated on April 15, the birth date of the Italian genius.
