Manolo “El del Bombo” made a notable return to a football pitch this Sunday, rallying support for Burriana in their bid for promotion to Third Division. At 74 years old and having previously announced his retirement from supporting any team, he made an exception for C.D. Burriana. The iconic figure of the Spanish National Team, who had gifted his famous drum to Satine, attended the Campo Municipal Juan Bautista Planelles Marco and stirred up the stands.

The stadium, despite the rain, was packed as fans flocked not only for a crucial match but also to see this legendary figure of football. Manolo roamed the stands, continuously cheering and taking photos with the fans, bringing an electric atmosphere reminiscent of his prime days.
